How can I contact you?

  • My email address is: Enable images to see my email address.
(this is not my Paypal address; if you're looking for my Paypal address, go to this page.)
  • For questions related to the exclusive payment method for Filipinos, email Erwin O. Aspacio.
  • If you have a question, you may also want to ask at the forum or on IRC. Please note that I'm not always on IRC, so you can't always expect a good answer on IRC. If you have payment- or delivery-related questions, you should email me.

Is my server supported?

Is VisualKore a scam?

Absolutely not. We hate scammers too, and we're not going to scam anybody.

First of all, we've been around since 2004, so we have quite some reputation by now. Maybe you know a friend who knows about us.

If you go to our payment page, then you'll see that that page is secured by 256-bit SSL encryption. You can see it by double clicking on the lock icon in your web browser:

Lock icon

In order to secure a website with SSL encryption, one has to contact a so-called certificate authority in order to buy a so-called SSL certificate. The certificate authority is a well-established and trusted company. They can verify that the owner of a SSL certificate is real, and is not a scammer. We also paid real money to buy an SSL certificate. Our SSL certificate is issued by the well-known SSL certificate company Equifax Secure, Inc..

But that is not all. The extremely strong SSL encryption on this website makes it impossible for hackers to steal your private information, such as credit card numbers or passwords.

Finally, we also keep a list of people who are known to be scammers. Some of them even pretend to be selling VisualKore even though they aren't. You may want to take a look at that page, we don't want anybody to get scammed!

Does VisualKore contain spyware, trojans or other malware?

Absolutely not. To verify this, one may download AVG Free, a free virus scanner provided by Grisoft. We have a virus scanner installed on all our development and release computers.

May I install VisualKore on multiple computers?

Yes. You may install VisualKore on as many computers as you want, provided that you're the only user of the program.

How many VisualKore bots can I run at the same time?

As many as you want! The number of bots you can run depends only on your computer hardware and your Internet connection's speed. VisualKore has a special "Low Memory Mode", which allows you to run even more VisualKore bots than usual. Given enough hardware resources, one can run as many as 50 bots at the same time!

I didn't pay for this! Someone stole my Paypal account!

If someone stole your Paypal account to pay for VisualKore, then please contact us immediately. We take things like this very seriously and will settle the matter quickly.

Please do not use Paypal's dispute system, as it usually takes more than a month for Paypal to settle a dispute. If you contact us directly we can settle the matter within a few days.

Do I pay for VisualKore periodically or only once?
What happens when my license expires?

A VisualKore license lasts for exactly one year. During the time that a VisualKore license is active, one may use our download page to download the latest version of VisualKore, and one is eligible for email support.

When your license expires, VisualKore will continue to work, and one is still eligible for free community support. But one won't be able to download anything from our download page anymore, including any updates. So if your license has expired, then you are responsible to backing up your copy of the VisualKore installer.

Please note that older versions of VisualKore may not always work on newer Ragnarok Online™ servers! As your Ragnarok Online server changes, VisualKore may also need updates in order to continue working. Think about support for new classes, support for new maps, and support for the RO server's latest protocol.

So although you don't have to pay for VisualKore more than once, it is generally recommended that you renew your VisualKore license once a year.

How do I renew my license?

Please go to the Get VisualKore page and make a payment. After the payment you will receive a License Creation and Renewal Code (LCRC). As the name implies, it is a code which you can use to create a new license, or to renewal an existing license. You want to renew an existing license.

Once you have the LCRC, go to our Customers page, and click "I want to renew an existing license". Follow any further instructions.

Thank you for being a loyal VisualKore customer. :)

How long will it take before I receive VisualKore?

If you pay by Paypal and you're using a funding source that can be immediately used (i.e. credit card or direct funding from the existing Paypal balance), then VisualKore is delivered almost instantly. Within 10 minutes, Paypal will notify our server when you've paid, and our server will email you download instructions right away.

If you paid by Paypal but you used eCheck or bank account as funding source, then VisualKore will be delivered as soon as the payment has been cleared. That is because we haven't actually received any funds yet, until Paypal tells "OK, now the funds have *really* arrived". The clearance date is variable.

If you paid with any other payment method, then the payment has to be processed manually by a human. Please wait at least 48 hours for it to be processed.

I didn't receive the email with download instructions, but I've already paid.

  • Have you already checked your spam folder? It's possible that the email is in there.
  • If you know that your payment has been cleared, or if you used a Paypal funding source that doesn't need clearance (see "How long will it take before I receive VisualKore?" for details), but you didn't receive the email anyway, then please contact us.

As explained in the last FAQ item, the email with download instructions is automatically sent by our server. Some people do not receive this email. This happens to roughly 1 out of 10 people. We haven't been able to figure out why. But rest assured: we will ensure that you receive VisualKore. Just send us an email and we'll send you the download instructions manually.

After I paid, I received an email. But when I go to the download page it asks me for a username/password. What do I do now?

In the email you will find a License Creation and Renewal Code (LCRC). As the name implies, it is a code which you can use to create a new license, or to renewal an existing license. You are supposed to use the LCRC to create a new username/password.

So on the login page, click on "Don't have a VisualKore username/password? Register today".
